Reasons for you to see the film (if any):
A love story from start to end. Soft, humorous, entertainer and a deviation from the new generation formula. Excellent script and direction.
Movie Review:
As said under Ustad Hotel, this film is also deviation from both the new generation films (no extra marital affairs!) and super star films. This film belongs to a class of soft films, similar to Salt and Pepper and Ustad Hotel.
Special mention to apt casting by Vineeth Sreenivasan – Nivin Pauli, Aju, Sunny, Manoj K Jayan and Sreenivasan performed well. The first half of the film was extremely super. From start to end, Tattathin Marayathu is a love story and that makes this film stand out, unlike many films which mix drama, masala, fight, family, revenge, hero dialogues or suspense to satisfy all categories of audience. The film is contemporary, with a right blend of humor by all. The climax of love story is not driven by the heroics of Nivin Paule, and that small twist spoils the character a little bit, but has not done great danger to the story. Also there are some illogical scenes including the initial hospital scene, where the hero is allowed to freely mingle with the Muslim heroine.
But can be rated among the best love stories in Malayalam film (only few good ones had been made so far) and deserves a place in 100 Must Watch Movies in Malayalam.
